HOW TO FREEZE YOUR CAKES

IT IS A-OK TO FREEZE YOUR CAKES, I PROMISE. 

IN FACT, IF YOU DON'T LEAVE THEM IN THE FREEZER FOR MONTHS THEY WILL ACTUALLY SEEM FRESHER.

MAKE SURE TO WRAP VERY WELL AND HAVE NO EXPOSED OPENINGS FOR AIR TO GET INSIDE.

I HAVE TYPED SOME INSTRUCTIONS ON EACH PHOTO, BUT WHAT I DIDN'T SHOW IS THAT I ALSO, IN ADDITION TO WHAT I HAVE BELOW, I ALSO DID THE FOLLOWING TWO THINGS;

1) IF THE CAKE IS COOL ENOUGH I TRIM THE TOP FLAT WHILE STILL IN PAN. THAT WAY YOU CAN STACK ON TOP OF EACH OTHER IN FREEZER. OTHERWISE I DON'T STACK.

2) AFTER ALL CAKES ARE WRAPPED WITH WHAT YOU SEE, THE LAST STEP IS TO PUT A PIECE OF FOIL ON TOP, SQUEEZING TIGHT ALL THE WAY AROUND TO FURTHER KEEP OUT AIR.
